The Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Cuenca del Lago de Atitlan, “ADICLA” was created more than 25 years ago with the aim for economic development through an initial project to improve infrastructures. Today ADICLA works with more than 9,000 clients distributed over its four branches. 70% of the clients are women, and most of them come from rural areas. The average disbursed loan is of EUR 686.

The MFI’s mission is to create opportunities for the low-income population, preferably rural, to generate financial resources and improve their living conditions through financial services tailored to their needs. Ensuring a significant social impact on the communities served is their fundamental role for the financial inclusion of the region.

ADICLA offers four main products to its clients: microenterprise, housing, agricultural and consumption. These products cover a wide range of needs and are distributed according to an individual and/or group methodology.
