MiCréditoYa
Pasto, Colombia - South America

MiCréditoYA Microfinanciera SAS (MICREDITOYA) was founded in Pasto city, Colombia, in 2017 by local microfinance experts with many years of experience on this sector. More precisely MiCréditoYA’s CEO was formerly the Business Manager in an MFI with more than 25 years of activities.

In light of its staff’s expertise, the new MFI came up with a strategy focused on rural areas and providing high quality services. The institution concentrates its operations in the Nariño region (Ecuadorian border) where the development of the microfinance industry is relatively limited. MiCréditoYA seeks to have a positive impact on local communities by offering socially and environmentally responsible financial alternatives.

Their main objective is to deliver solutions adapted to the financial needs of its clients, with efficiency, relevancy and humanity in each of its products and services.

Currently the MFI has around 2,000 clients with only one agency and the average disbursed loan goes up to EUR 887.
