Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso - West Africa

The ACEP system (Agence de Crédit pour l’Entreprise Privée) was developed in the 90’s on the initiative of ACEP International and is constituted as a reference network and as one of the main actors of microfinance in Africa. The MFI arrived in Burkina Faso in 2010 to provide local financial services by adopting existing best practices in this area.

Its activities began in 2012 and today, the institution finances more than 25,000 micro-entrepreneurs through 7 agencies. The agencies are in the largest cities of the country: Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Koudougou and Kaya to serve the urban and peri-urban areas of Burkina Faso.

The target clientele of ACEP-Burkina are developing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and that are strongly committed to the implementation of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) system, so that the social mission can be identified and pursued throughout activities.
