Humo is a progressive and leading microcredit deposit organisation. Their main activity is to provide quality, affordable financial services to the rural population. The MFI also aims to promote the development of small and medium-sized businesses in poor areas of Tajikistan.

In their work, they use modern technology and high standards of micro financing. This allows them to carry out the activities in accordance with best international practices. At the same time, this also implies a high quality customer service, effective management of the company and good relationships with partner banks, government regulators and local authorities.

In Tajikistan, lending activities are carried out by 125 MFIs, 17 banks, one leasing company, a wholesale lending company and two international organisations.

The MFI is one of three leading microcredit organisations and serves more than 76,500 clients. The institution only provides individual loans like, among others, the Business loan (57% of their clients) or the Agricultural loan (26%).

Besides providing financing, HUMO also proposes services to their clients like voluntary savings, money transfers and banking operations.
