Renesans in Uzbekistan was created in 2007 with the vision to strive to be a leader in providing quality financial services to micro and small entrepreneurs and to become a leading organisation in the field of microfinance in every region of the country.

They have as mission to ensure easy and fast access to microfinance services for all people, and thus the development of entrepreneurs in the Republic of Uzbekistan and their sustainable development through the provision of loans and credits based on the principles of honesty, timeliness and efficiency to become a strong microfinance organisation in Uzbekistan promoting economic development.

Renesans supports over 10,000 clients mainly in the east part of the country through 8 agencies, but plan to have a total of 15 agencies soon. 80% of their clients live in rural areas and 54% of them are women. 28% of the MFIs loans are dedicated to agriculture with an average loan of EUR 1,119.
