Visit of the House of Microfinance by the ministries
10th anniversary
On May 2nd, the Minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, Romain Schneider, and the Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, visited the House of Microfinance in Luxembourg for the first time.
Opened in 2007 by H.R.H. the Grand Duchess, it has now been 10 years since the various entities started their work: the Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF), the NGO Appui au Développement Autonome (ADA), the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP), the réseau luxembourgeois de finance inclusive (InFiNe.lu), the Microinsurance Network (MiN) and Microlux.
Each institution introduced itself before Ministers Schneider and Gramegna announced Luxembourg’s renewed political and financial commitment to microfinance and inclusive finance.
