FINCA – Azerbaijan
INCA stands for the Foundation for International Community Assistance. Established in 1984, FINCA is best known for having pioneered the “Village Banking method”- one of the principal forms of micro-credit in microfinance overall.
FINCA Azerbaijan was founded in 1998 and since then has grown to become the leading non-bank credit organization in Azerbaijan serving more than 155,000 active clients with 67 branches operating within the whole country.
This institution is a non-bank credit organization, operating under limited license from the National Bank of Azerbaijan, providing micro-credit to clients across Azerbaijan. FINCA is an affiliate of FINCA International, Inc. and their mission is to alleviate poverty through lasting solutions that help people build assets, create jobs and raise their standard of living.
