Paula is the mother of eight children, for whom she cares and worries about regarding their studies. To manage to afford good studies for children, there is the need to be ingenious and to have different sources of income that will allow to cover all the needs.
As an entrepreneur, eight years ago she applied for her first microloan to start an agricultural project. A year later, with a second loan she started raising guinea pigs. Today she continues to exploit this business with the help of her two sisters: “We dream of having our own market. This way, we can negotiate the prices ourselves and meet our clients”. Now, Paula wants to improve the space she allocates to the animals by building a barn and to do so, she has decided to request a new microloan to Fondesurco that will allow her to finance it.
Her children are her pride and she wants to make an effort so that everyone can reach higher education. One of her daughters has already done so and studies architecture at the University of Arequipa.
