AHSETFIN

AHSETFIN
Tegucigalpa, Honduras

The Honduran Association for the Development of Technical and Financial Services (AHSETFIN) began its operations in December 2006 as an association aimed at promoting and spreading social, educational, and financial development among the Honduran population in rural and marginalized urban areas of the country.

AHSETFIN was founded by a group of professionals from various fields who shared the experience of working as consultants for national and international organizations. Based on their work, they came up with the idea of creating an association to support women, single mothers, and men who lacked access to bank credit. As a result, AHSETFIN initially carried out credit transactions by administering funds.

69% of AHSETFIN’s clients are female, with 37% of them residing in rural areas. Their mission is to provide comprehensive credit services in a sustainable, efficient, and timely manner to improve the quality of life for their clients. Their vision is to be an association that contributes to the sustainable development of Honduras, generating value for their clients, employees, and associates. AHSETFIN values opportunity, trust, social responsibility, and teamwork.

This association plays a crucial role in empowering women and low-income families by offering financial services tailored to their needs. Through their holistic approach and commitment to sustainable development, AHSETFIN is helping to create a better future for the Honduran population.
